3D owns the exclusive IP protected rights to a technology platform enabling impedance measurement in a number of applications. 

The first application of the technology addresses the vast dentistry global market and will enable earlier detection of tooth decay driving the trend towards preventative dental care and reducing the need for fillings.  3D’s first commercial product, the CarieScan PRO^tm, is now on sale as an easy to use, highly accurate hand held device for the early detection and monitoring of tooth decay. 3D plans to roll-out the PRO^tm globally and has already partnered with leading dental distributor, Patterson Dental to achieve adoption of this product in the substantial Canadian and North American markets. This platform technology also has a number of other potential applications including the detection of osteoporosis, skin and oral cancer and in medical imaging, providing substantial opportunities for future growth.
